RV Having Fun Yet?
With our first RV'ing drive and night under our belt, we feel like we are already old pros at this. (insert nervous laugh) We drove from Leesburg to Zanesville, OH. That took us through 5 states and said it should take us 5 hours and 11 minutes. It took us about 7. Not a lot to mention about the drive except that that are not a lot of those little roadside rest stops along the way. Weird....something that you might not notice unless you are in a 23 foot RV with 2 kids and a dog.
RV parks are very interesting. Discovered a whole culture of people that love RV'ing and also noticed that our RV game is coming WEAK. We have the usual camp chairs (one is broken), a camp table and an awning (that came with our RV). AND, if Caden has a flashlight in his hand, we *might* have a light show but the more professional of the RV game had mad game. We saw wooden decks, potted blooming flowers, entertainment centers, a live concert from one of the RV'ers and another RV'er shooting off fireworks until the wee hours of the night. It's Magical.
I have a little video of our tiny home for the next 18 days. We are trying to figure out a name for this wonderful rolling palace. So, to pass some time, we all thought of names that we can call her for the duration of our trip.
Caden: Chicken Nugget
Casey: Riggie Smalls
Cameron: *rolled her eyes and grunted* - I think we decided not to go with that one because it might be lost in translation.
Hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July!!! Today is a long drive day. I will have musings soon!
